The history of the Alnö: For decades, the Garni Erna was an extremely popular starting point for tourists and visitors who wanted to explore the Dolomites or enjoy the slopes around Plan de Corones/Kronplatz. Generations of guests have appreciated the family atmosphere and the ideal location in San Vigilio.

After decades of success as a family-run hotel, the Garni Erna was about to enter a new era: a major renovation and extensive further development were to lead the hotel into a new era without losing its roots. The core of the house – the idea that each room is equipped with its own kitchen and thus acts like its own small apartment – has been retained. This concept, which makes guests feel at home, is still at the heart of Garni Hotel Alnö today.

The renovation also added new amenities: a large, beautiful outdoor pool, modern and stylishly renovated rooms, and completely refurbished kitchens that meet the high standards of our guests. Despite these renovations, the Garni Hotel Alnö remains true to its origins – a place where tradition and innovation go hand in hand.
