My name is Ulrich and I am a passionate host. Having grown up in a family of hoteliers, I have had the pleasure of welcoming guests since childhood. Even as a boy, I loved being around our guests. At my family's guesthouse, the former Garni Erna, I learned from an early age how much joy can be brought by creating lasting memories through small gestures.

Having completed my training as a chef and attended hotel management school, I realized that I didn't just want to practise this profession; I wanted to live it. In 2023, I fulfilled this lifelong dream. With the opening of Alnö, I created a place where tradition, warmth and my own vision converge. It is a place where you can arrive, take a deep breath and really feel at home.

Having travelled extensively myself, I understand how important it is to receive genuine attention and trust, and to feel at home while travelling. This is precisely what I aim to provide for my guests. For me, San Vigilio di Marebbe is more than just home; it is also a place of power. Surrounded by nature and the Dolomites, life here is more mindful and I would like to share this way of life with others.

I am athletic, I love nature and I enjoy real life. Perhaps that is precisely what many of my guests appreciate about my Residence: an atmosphere where you feel not only well looked after, but also seen and welcome.
